Our Mission

The overall mission of our church is to make the name of Jesus great in our world, and to allow people opportunities to encounter His character, goodness, and redeeming grace. If the body of Christ is not seeing people delivered and souls saved, then we are missing the mark. Christ came to seek and to save those who are lost, and while we do not have the ability to save people, we do have the ability to preach the name of the One who can.

Our Beliefs

Our God

We believe in one living true God, eternal, and of infinite knowledge, wisdom and power. He is a loving, faithful God, and is the creator and preserver of all things. God has always existed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and through His death, burial and resurrection, overcame death and sin.
The Bible is God’s revelation to every person, and it is the inspired Word of God. The most important command in scripture is to love God with all our hearts and others as ourselves.

The Individual

Man was created good and upright in the image of God. However, because of Adam’s sin, we inherited a corrupt and sinful nature. We are therefore separated from God, and are dead without Christ.

Salvation is through Christ alone. Salvation is obtained by His grace and not by works, and it offers us forgiveness, deliverance, healing, and redemption. We receive Jesus by confessing with our mouth and believing in our heart that God raised Him from the dead.

Sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit in each believer, and that it is separation from evil and dedication unto God.  It is both instantaneous and progressive.

Water baptism by immersion is the privilege of every believer, and while it cannot save from sin, it is a public declaration of faith. Subsequent to salvation and sanctification, every believer can also experience the baptism in the Holy Spirit where believer is endued with power with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.

The Church

The duty of the church is to represent Christ on the earth. We should be serve, love, and accept the way that Jesus served, loved, and accepted. The aim of the church should be to continue the ministry of Jesus at whatever cost.

We believe in Holy Communion. By receiving the bread and cup, we remember what Jesus Christ did for us. We also observe foot washing from time to time as a way of serving one another as Jesus did when He washed His disciples’ feet.

Spiritual gifts are given to every believer in the church for the purpose of strengthening and extending the work of God. The leadership of the church is to equip the congregation for ministry.
